We totally understand the desire to meet your future furbaby before committing to adoption. It is a big commitment, and we want all of our potential families to be thrilled about their new family member.
We are always happy to meet with families via a virtual Meet and Greet session.
Based on the genetics of the sire and dam, we do our best to predict the outcome of each litter. However, this is not an exact science and can easily surprise us. We cannot predict the genders of the puppies.
If your application notates that you are interested in a specific gender or color, we will do our best to accommodate your request. It is important to note that the wait time will likely be longer compared to others who have no preference.
If you get a stuffy nose or itchy skin whenever you enter a home with a dog, you’re not alone. Dog allergies are among the most common allergies, and many dog lovers feel like they have to love from a distance. No dog is 100% allergy-safe, but there are some traits that make allergies less severe, and Yorkies have all of them. That means that many people with dog allergies can be around Yorkies without trouble.
We highly recommend purchasing an Allergy T-shirt from us to help determine if your allergies will be triggered by our yorkies. We will have a parent dog wear a t-shirt for 1-2 days, then ship it to you.
Please click the Allergy T-Shirt Test link on our website for more details.

We aim to allow our puppies to go to their furever homes at 8 weeks old as long as they are successfully weaned and consistently eating. For smaller puppies, it can be up to 14 weeks.
Currently, we do not offer shipping.
We do offer delivery within a 50 miles radius. The rate is $1.50 per mile times total milage for a round-trip. Additionally, a $40.00 per hour traveling convenience fee (minimum 1 hour).
Please notify us of your interest by notating it on the Pet Adoption Application or sending us an email at PortCityYorkiesSC@gmail.com
While we would love to accommodate requests to come visit/tour our program before committing to adopt a furbaby, there is no way to safely welcome people into our home. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
